The Pretty Cart is the ultimate showpiece for your next celebration: a full setup, a beautifully styled menu display, two hours of attentive service, and seamless teardown. A minimum of 25 guests is required, along with a $250 cart rental fee. A booking deposit paid via credit card secures your date.

Meet Maria
Founder Maria Gerstel built The Pretty Platter around a simple idea: artfully designed charcuterie and custom mobile bars that turn every gathering into a beautiful experience.
Before charcuterie, Maria worked in mental health services, work that shaped her values of compassion, connection, and care. That same care now goes into every board she builds, turning a passion for bringing people together over food into a business built on celebrating life’s special moments.

How do I book the cart or a grazing table?+
Fill out the inquiry form on our Book Now page and we’ll respond within 24–48 business hours with a price quote. Once you approve it, we’ll send an invoice. A 50% booking deposit is required to officially reserve your date. Without the deposit, the date is not held.
How far in advance should I book?+
As early as you can once your date is set. Weekend dates for weddings and showers are our most requested, so booking a few months out gives you the most flexibility on size and add-ons.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?+
Yes, gluten-free, vegetarian, and other dietary requests can be built into your board or cart. Just let us know when you send your inquiry so we can plan accordingly.
Can boards be styled to match my event theme or colors?+
Always Pretty is part of our promise, from garnish choices to signage and stickers on the cart, we style each order to fit your event.
Where are you located, and how far do you travel?+

Refund Policy

All Sales Are Final
Due to the custom, perishable nature of our charcuterie boards, grazing tables, cups, and mobile cart service, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds once a booking deposit or full payment has been made.
Booking Deposits
A 50% deposit is required to reserve your event date (a rental fee and deposit apply to Mobile Cart bookings, as described on our Menu & Pricing page). This deposit is non-refundable and secures your date, ingredients, and staffing.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel your event, please notify us as soon as possible. While deposits and payments are non-refundable, we will do our best to work with you on rescheduling to a new date, subject to availability.
Date Changes
We understand plans change. Requests to move your event to a new date will be accommodated when possible, based on availability and current pricing.
Weather & Unforeseen Circumstances
In the rare case that The Pretty Platter must cancel due to circumstances beyond our control, we will work with you to reschedule your event or apply your deposit to a future date.

How Booking Works
Submit an inquiry through our Book Now form with your event details. We respond within 24–48 business hours with a custom quote based on your guest count, service type, and add-ons.
Securing Your Date
Once you approve your quote, we’ll send an invoice. A 50% deposit (or the applicable Mobile Cart deposit and rental fee) is required to officially reserve your date. Your date is not held until the deposit is received.
Final Payment
The remaining balance is due ahead of your event date; the exact due date is confirmed on your invoice.
Guest Count & Menu Details
Please confirm your final guest count, service type, and any dietary needs as early as possible, and no later than the timeframe noted on your invoice, so we can plan ingredients and staffing accordingly.
Service Area
We’re based in Greensburg, PA, and serve Westmoreland County, Allegheny County, and Western PA. Delivery is available starting at $30 within 10 miles of Greensburg, PA, with additional distance priced accordingly.
Setup & Timing
For Mobile Cart and Full Service bookings, our team arrives ahead of your event start time to set up and style your board, table, or cart. Exact arrival windows are confirmed with your invoice.

Food Allergies & Dietary Needs
We’re happy to accommodate dietary requests such as gluten-free and vegetarian options when noted at booking. However, our boards, tables, and cart are prepared in a space that also handles common allergens, including nuts, dairy, gluten, and shellfish. We cannot guarantee any item is completely free of trace allergens. Guests with severe allergies should exercise personal discretion.
Equipment & Setup
The Pretty Platter is not responsible for damage to venue property, flooring, or surfaces resulting from normal setup and service, including our mobile cart, boards, and display equipment, when used as intended.
Guest Conduct & Venue Conditions
We are not responsible for injury, loss, or damage arising from guest conduct, venue conditions outside our control, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control during your event.
Perishable Food
Charcuterie and grazing items are perishable and best enjoyed within the timeframe recommended by our team at setup. The Pretty Platter is not liable for food left out beyond safe serving times.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, The Pretty Platter’s liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount paid for that booking.
